AAAFF is looking for new committee members for the 6th annual film festival!
Requirements:
- Meetings every Tuesday night, 8pm
- Attend individual committee meetings
- Attend (at least) the first AAA
meeting of every month
- Make a year-long commitment (October 2008 - May 2009)

AAA Film Festival will be hosting a performance by Far East Movement, a prominent Asian American hip hop group!

Time: 10:00 - 11:55pm
Location: Art Annex Building (map)
Price: FREE!
The performance will be free, but priority will be given to those who come to the showing of American Pastime. So come, enjoy the film (along with the great student films) and check out an awesome performance!

The Student Films Contest deadline has been extended to May 1st at 4PM! Get those films in for the May 16th contest!
The 2008 Press Release has been uploaded onto the Press Room webpage for your convenience.
The film festival committee will be out on the Quad (Memorial Union) advertising for the next two weeks! Come out if you have ANY questions or if you'd just like to talk about the films we're showing!

We want YOUR FILMS!
The Asian American Association Film Festival of UC Davis invites you to submit your short film to be screened in our film festival. If your short passes our initial screening phase, it will be entered into student film contest and showcased during the last day of the festival on May 16th, 2008. The contest will be judged by university faculty and staff from the UC Davis Asian American Studies and Film Studies departments. The filmmaker of the best short films will be awarded a prize.
